Dental Extraction
Extraction of a tooth is having that tooth removed surgically. This procedure usually takes only a few minutes, except in cases where there are complications. Before the extraction, the patient will be given local anesthesia which involves numbing the area to eliminate any pain the patient might have felt without it.
There are many reasons why extraction might become necessary. Pain tooth decay, abscess, gum disease, prosthetics (false teeth), and removal of extra teeth might be necessary to correct irregular teeth placement.

What should you expect after dental extraction? Every case is unique in some cases there might be some slight bleeding or some swelling in case there were stitches, this will normally go away after a day.
